Greg S. Ruddell, Sr. has been in the telecommunications business in one form or another since 1970. He began his career in the early days of the expanded television industry with Braton & Associates, one of the first national CATV sales companies offering a mere 10 stations at the time. He next co-founded R&B Satellite & Construction Company, which built cable systems and offered commercial and residential C-Band satellite systems.

In 1985, Mr. Ruddell took a break from the telecommunications industry and "retired" to the antiques business. During this time, he kept a watchful eye on trends in the satellite industry and studied everything available while he planned his next move.

Finally, certain that the future of the industry was in direct broadcast satellites, he sold his 5,000 square foot house and invested the earnings in a new business, Rocking "R" Inc. He named it after his father's pig farm and it grew into a highly successful contractor of Primestar.

After the demise of Primestar, Mr. Ruddell founded Rocking "R" International, Inc. to offer fulfillment services across the U.S. In 1997, Mr. Ruddell formed CAOTTI (Cable And Other Things Too), Inc. to provide a nationwide warranty service for satellite customers, as well as caotti.com for computer and electronic sales.

For the past eighteen years, Rocking "R" International has been a contractor to Dish Network, Telesat, WildBlue and other companies with over 190 in-house technicians and 343 sub-contractors serving across the nation.

In 2006, Mr. Ruddell fulfilled a 20-year-old dream and formed Standoff Studios, an independent production company specializing in high definition content. StandOff's current list of credits includes national advertising campaigns, feature films, episodic television and animated series.

Greg Ruddell currently lives in McCormick, South Carolina with his wife B.J.
