Hard working, driven and a leader. These three word describe Marcos Contreras. Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, Marcos developed and early love for film watching "Movie Magic" on the Discovery Channel. While in film school he developed another love and his passion, sound for film. Although very much in love with the postproduction aspect of films, Marcos found his home on countless short film sets, leading sound teams and getting the cleanest and loudest audio he could. He enjoys and respects the company of his co-workers and friends on set and his charismatic, easy going attitude makes him approachable and very easy to work with.

Now living in Los Angeles California, Marcos stays close to friends and works as a very succesful freelance sound mixer. Anything from commercial, to documentaries, to feature film sets, Marcos is there to tackle anything from the simplest of gigs to the most challenging ones without hesitation or despair.
