After graduating from Florida State University with a BA in Communication, Tracy went to work at CNN and eventually became a Writer/Producer at CNN Creative Services. He cut his teeth on daily topical news promotion and was soon tasked with producing image spots for CNN, Headline News and CNN International. In 2004, he transferred to the CNN Program Promotion group, where he placed promotional messages into newscasts and helped develop web integration strategies with CNN.com. After deciding to strike out on his own, Tracy's path led him to Standoff Studios where he is a copywriter working on several web and marketing initiatives for the company.
